Senior Backend Developer – Laravel/PHP

Key Responsibilities:

• Build new features that are fit for production releases.
• Design of the overall architecture of the web application.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Collaborate with leads, developers, and designers to develop, debug and maintain modules in the backend system
• Learn and use core AWS technologies to design and build resilient and scalable backend web services and customer-facing APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills, and data structures Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of PHP frameworks, such as Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP, etc.
• Knowledge of object oriented programming
• Have worked with Redis or Memcached for caching
• Experience with and extensive knowledge of REST framework
• Familiarity with PHP coding standards (PSR-4, PSR-5) is a plus
• Experience with writing backend APIs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Independence, willingness to learn and problem solving skills are a must
• B. Tech./BS in related field (preferred)
• At least two years of related experience
